Friendly atmosphere, as a frequent patron I have come to know some of the servers and they are friendly, and make excellent menu suggestions, have yet to not truly enjoy everything I've eaten there. The stuffed crab is excellent for 2 to share. My favorite appetizer is the egg rolls, using the fish sauce (which is a sweet sauce) wrapping it in the lettuce leaves and cilantro, excellent! The hot pot is also a good choice, but being a lazy american, I don't want to cook when I go out to eat, but it is delicious. I enjoy the soups, more than enough for a meal, and particularly appreciate the egg noodles, in soup, or fried, they are flavorful and delicious. It is a family atmosphere with the twins popping in to visit thier parents, they are adorable. I would enjoy it more ONLY if there were more ambience. Less TV some quiet music, dimmer lights when coming later in the evening. Otherwise, wonderful and my favorite restaurant in University City

I love this place!! I drive 3 hours once or twice a month just to eat here. Everything I have ever had there is great, from the fried tofu (sounds bad but is great) to the curry chicken with mixed veggies (number 36). This place is amazing and is right down from great shopping and fun places to hang out on on the loop. TRY IT!!!!!

I am Vietnamese and I love our food. I have to agree with the first review in saying that the food at Saigon on 120th is better and more authentic than this place. But Saigon's portion is small and NOT typical of how VNmese retsaurants' portions usually are. This place at least has decent size portions even though it is not as tasty or rich in our flavor.I personally did not think it was delicious or even good enough to return. My son did say he liked their pork chops rice plate though.
