I always love going here! The food is incredible - wonderful flavor combinations and beautiful presentation. Everything that I have eaten from Saigon City has been very fresh and authentic to traditional Thai dishes. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very sweet and almost comforting. It's always a pleasure eating at Saigon City!

Som Siam

My wife and I love Som Siam so much that we eat there almost once every week (I think she might get take-out there too that I don't know about). The food is great and the restaurant is quaint - which you would expect for this area. But - this is by far the best Thai restaurant on the shoreline. The curries are excellent - our favorite is the Massaman.

Siam Thai Restaurant

This restaurant in downtown South Bend is one of a few options in the Thai/Lao/Cambodian cuisine offerings in town. The restaurant has high quality but is plagued by small portions, high prices, and so-so service. I had the red curry, pad thai, a chicken prick dish, and a mix of appetizers and all were quite good but expensive. This is expensive for basic Thai (although by South Bend standards this might be upscale) especially now there are other options in town at cheaper prices.

Cambodian Thai

This restaurant has high quality, low prices for traditional Thai (seems more Cambodian in style to me) food. I have been happy with every dish I have had here. Not upscale at all and the dining room is VERY small so take out might be the way to go on a busy night. Great food!

599 Thai Cafe
599 Broadway, Sonoma, El Verano,
Wonderful food. Always fresh. Never overcooked or too heavy. The owner and her daughter are great people and treat customers well. They have a little patio that they open in warmer seasons. We live just a couple of blocks away and go about once a week. I highly recommend it.
