Chili's Grill & Bar
7035 Marvin D Love Fwy, Dallas, Red Oak,
This is one of the few "fancy" burger joints which actually COOK the meat! One needn't fret about having one's dinner burger let out a bellow when you dig in. Nor will it's juices run down your chin in red streams. The veggies are fresh, the service is swift and the booths are comfy. The lighting is good for both conversation and reading (depending on your choice of dining companion, people or books). For the price, you always get your money's worth at this Chili's!

JR's Pizza and Southwestern Wraps
714 E 14 Mile Rd, Royal Oak, Clawson,
If you see this place, go in and get some food. It is worth it!!! So it was carry-out only. This was, by far, the best pizza around!! We were regulars and recommended to everyone. Then, one day recently, it was just gone. The location was not the best, on the corner of 14 mile and Rochester. But the service and food was outstanding in an addictive kind of way. I can only hope that they have decided to open at another location, as I am sure that the only reason for the closing was the lack of traffic.

THUNDER BAY GRILLE
6511 N Brady St, Davenport, Rapids City,
I had an excellent experience here. Great food and prices aren't bad at all. I love the ambiance and the service was great. I would definitely go back. It has a nice "cabin" feel to it.

Tower of the Americas Tower Restaur
8520 Crownhill Blvd, San Antonio, Leon Valley,
After reading some of the other reviews I was somewhat leery of eating here. But my son had just finished basic training and I wanted to treat him and his girl friend to something special. We went there for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was spotless. There were no signs of bugs--living or dead. The service was great. The food was excellent. And the view was spectacular. Salads were not included, but the steaks came with mashed potatoes and the fish came with rice. The food is a little pricey; plan on $40 a person. However, I've paid that much for equally good food in restaurants that don't revolve and aren't 700 feet in the air. To me, this is something you should experience at least once in your life.

Cappy's Restaurant
5011 Broadway St, San Antonio, Leon Valley,
In this growing city, that is being bombarded with every restaurant chain known in the free world and the local competition of overrated Tex Mex and Taquerias-type joints, why would anyone not choose Cappy's as a great, refreshing alternative?? Cappy Lawton, creator and owner of this continual oasis of fresh and creative ideas has managed to keep his original site and not lose sight of the basics and the main focus; a great menu and knowledgeable, friendly staff in a peaceful, funky setting. What a joy to come back to this place after a twenty year absence and find the same qualities that made me a regular when I lived here in the 80's!! What a great experience!

Sly Fox Brewhouse & Eatery
519 Kimberton Rd, Phoenixville, Pottstown,
I agree with alliestar13. They used to have their act together but food is secondary to them. First comes the beer. For a local brewery, the beer is good. Everything else is mediocre to weak. Service is nothing great. Food is very average. If you like beer go here, try all the flavors, then go eat someplace else.

Country Diner
520 E Market St, Akron, Cuyahoga Falls,
The food is great, but what I was most pleased with was a praticular waitress named Carla, she was very polite, most mannerable, and consistent. I would definetly return to the diner and hope she was my waitress again.
