The menu has changed and now has a wider range of customizations. Pad Thai plus chicken would now run you $6.95, and the quality is always top notch when I visit. I agree that it's not a place to conduct a business lunch, but quick service restaurants quite often are not the best location for that, anyway, especially ones located in a shopping center. The employees are always friendly, and the service is quick. I think the previous reviewer needs to reexamine this spot.

If you love Chicken Paprikash, this is your place! The food is all homemade and served with a smile! They have specials that would make mom jealous...including Roasted Duck, meatloaf and super stuffed peppers. You won't be disappointed!

When I was there I had a VERY rude server. I'd love to go back but hope I am not stuck with him. I guess I wasn't worthy of decent service since I'm a few shades darker than the average patron of Bayside. :(

Five Feet Restaurant

This is fine dining without having to get too gussied up and with helpful service that isn't all pompous about it. We had the 6 course tasting menu and each person had a different dish for each course. All really tasty with fresh approaches and wines that nicely complemented each one. Was awkward trying to share the necessarily small portions but who could resist trying them all?! Service is friendly and caring and knowledgeable. Definitely adds to the ambiance. Only quibble is that desserts were very sub-par. Rubbery or too dense. The service folk seemed to already be aware of this rather shocking short-coming in an otherwise impeccable execution. They should seek a true pastry chef to achieve the greatness that is sooooo close.
