One of my absolute favorite places! Do NOT visit here if you don't want to cook your own food and/or you don't have a couple of hours to kill on dinner. It really does take that long to eat, on average, but time flies and it's worth it. You can't go wrong with the pepperjack cheese and the house raspberry vinaigrette is the best I've had. And the meats and chocolates are wonderful as well. The martinis are delicious! For those who like blue coconut snow cones, try the Snow Cone Martini! It's to die for! I've never had a martini here that I didn't like. Asking the waiter/waitress for ideas that aren't on the drink menu is a good idea if you want to try something new, too! On Saturdays, ask to sit in Scott's section! He's been waiting on us for years and he's one of our favorites. Again, do expect to take your time at dinner and DO expect to have to cook your own food. We are amazed how many people seem horrified at that! Also, expect to leave smelling like the cooking oil! It's $33 per person if you want to get the 4 course dinner, and so very worth it!

Urban Fondue

The service was spotty and somewhat cold. They were out of the first two bottles of wine I ordered. The food was not very good - when you are forced to cook everything in one large vat of broth then the different foods tend to taste the same. And the prices - my entree contained a samll amount of low-grade steak and pork amounting to about $4 retail though I was charged $19.

I loved this place from the minute I pulled in. The evening began with complimentary valet parking. As I walked in the front door I was captivated by the unique interior of the old kiln building...awesome, romantic and quaint. The table we had was very private although a bit small. We were there for my birthday, (which was stated at the time of the reservation), and when we arrived at our table there was a birthday card signed by the entire staff. When the waitress arrived at our table, she too wished me a happy birthday by my first name. I was impressed by the personal attention to detail. The food was FABULOUS from begining to end. I will definately be going back as soon as I can.
