Mellor Park Mall

I had a great time shopping at this charming shopping center. They had a number of stores that cater to all age-groups and demographics. Although busy, the mall was not crowded and it was easy to get in and out without any frustration. The only thing I wish the mall had was a food court. However, there are a number of restaurants located nearby, so this was not a big deal. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience.

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill

I eat out at a lot of places during the week, but I have to say that it has been a long time since I have had service and food the way I did tonight. When we arrived at Applebee's in El Dorado, Arkansas the greeting that we recieved was weak. The greeter then sat us and gave us a menu. We had our 2 year old with us and she was never given the kids menu or even crayons to color with. After sitting for a good 10 minutes our waitress finally arrived to take our order. Our drinks were brought to us with very little ice in the glasses and was still never asked about our daughter. We ordered a couple of appetizers onion rings and chips and cheese dip. The chips tasted old along with the dip. The onion rings were close to being done but lacked flavor to enjoy. We then recieved our food that we all thought would be food of great taste, but we were wrong. The steak and barbeque I had was great to taste no complaints there, but they did not have the fries cooked so that is what was brought to me until they were finished. The fries that my wife recieved were not even completely done. The bake potato that my mom ordered was so cold that the butter would not melt. We had the server take it and was never offered a replacement or something to even make up the difference. My poor grandma who only got coffee and water to drink was only given one cup of coffee the whole time. She even said that her dinner was less that eatable. We sat and waited for our bill to see how much such horrible service and food would cost and another server come up behind us and was talking to the greeter and said outloud for everyone to hear oh crap(except she used the other word which everone knows what is) that is supposed to be my table. That is not something I like to hear from someone working in a professional public place with 2 year olds around. It's one thing if it someone that is eating there or is a customer but another to be an employee. Anyway we recieved our bill and it came out to be almost $69.00. We were never asked how was everthing or even if we had a problem at all. I was so disappointed in a place that I loved to go eat at. If that is suppose to be one of the best places our town has to offer it is no wonder everything is closing down and everyone is starting to move off. I think it is time for a change for our public places especially our restaurants.

This is my favorite place to stop once I get off of work late at night. The staff are super nice and if you are a regular customer they never forget you. The prices are more reasonable than Perkins, and it is usually filled with a colorful variety of people. I guess I like this place so much b/c the drunk preppy crowd avoids this place like the plague. So if you are looking for some good late night eats, and some interesting company this is the place for you!

They are the most accomodating of any Captain D's I've ever visited. The food is excellent and when you enter, they welcome you and thank you for coming as you leave. It's not unusual for me to eat there twice in one week.

We've gone to Harbor Rock for years and our whole family just loves it. They are very "Kid Friendly" and their food is a step above anyone else in town. Their service is friendly and their breakfast, Fish & Chips and Burgers are Killer! They have the best tartar sauce I have ever tasted and they serve breakfast all day! I heard they are opening a new bigger one in Dupont, Wa. Yea!! We'll be there for sure!
