I don't know what the other reviewer was complaining about, being part cuban (and the rest carribean) I know what authentic Cuban food tastes like-- and this is it! Its definetly not PURE Cuban as they do offer some Puerto Rican and Salvadoren dishes but all of the food is great. Martino's is very casual and relaxed and has a super friendly wait staff. My only complaint is that on busy nights service can be somewhat slow. I would recommend making reservations -- especially on Friday nights during the warm months when the town of Somerville has its "Cruise Nights".

First of all I've been to a few Cuban places but this one takes the "beans". I love the location which has been real easy to tell others how to get there. The warm greeting is followed by quickly being seated in a nice candle-lit corner. The selections on the menu are'nt so vast you can't figure out what to choose but they have enough. the seafood is awesome! and whatever you get find out if it comes with black beans if not get some, they our fresh from Gods pot! I dont know how they do it but Oh my God! If ur not a bean person get em anyway you'll love em. I took my wife and we both agreed the ambience of the place made it feel like a date instead of us just going out to dinner. An overall beautifull experience i would refer to everyone!

It has a nice atmosphere. The service is good. The food is good. BUT IT IS NOT CUBAN! They don't make cuban espresso like the cubans down in Miami. Their food is nothing Cuban. At best this place is fusion of carribean food with a heavy Brazilian flare. For Cuban food go to Cuba Cuba--now that is more typical of Cuban food and drinks.
