Lulu's Creperie Cafe
24781 Alicia Pky, Laguna Hills, Irvine,
My husband and I went to this restaurant at the recommendation of a friend --- and had the most wonderful dinner. The food is as good or better than most 4 and 5 star restaurants we have been to. The chef was friendly and came out to talk with us. The decor is wonderful --- it really does transport you to a small cafe in the French countryside right in the middle of Orange County!!! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves adorableand charming restaurants with great food and friendly people!!! It is a great place to have a dinner with firends or your spouse!

Valerie's Crepes
400 S Baldwin Ave # 909-L, Arcadia, Arcadia,
YUMMY! Well I had the Valerie's crepe everytime my fiancee and I go to the Arcadia mall located near the Santa Anita Racetrack. It has Nutella hazelnut spread, banannas, strawberries, vanilla icecream, powder sugar, and i think caramel..basically a little bit of everything!. THE CREPES ARE MADE FRESH RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU! I haven't tried the other crepes that are not dessert style but I will. We were skeptic at first but since the crepe had the same name as my sister I had to try it. BEST DESSERT BY FAR.

Derek's Bistro
181 E Glenarm St Ste 105, Pasadena, Arcadia,
this place is very very romantic, it's got ambiance, and flavor. The food is great! The service is good, but I felt that considering the price, I'm not sure I would go back. We went on New Years Eve and were thoroughly ripped off.

Fantastic dessert crepes. The open-face steak sandwich (called the Hunchback) is also quite good.

Crepes A Go Go
2125 University Ave, Berkeley, Hercules,
If there's *any* excuse to stop by here to pick up a house special or the scaled down version with fewer of the same ingredients, I will. There's something about the crepes here that make them significantly more flavorful than any other places I've had crepes. I can get a crepe to go in a little hand-held triangle and just inhale the aroma for a few breaths before savoring each crispy-on-the-outside-warm-and-chewy-on-the-inside bite. You might think I'm going a bit overboard, but it seriously is one of my favorite places to get food. The fact that they now have Classico Gelato... whoever owns the place and I are apparently on the same wavelength when it comes to what they think is tasty. My main complaint is that I live in the South Bay and they've managed to open up places in the East Bay, SF, and Monterey, but nothing down my neck of the woods. If the owners are reading this, please open up something in, like, Mountain View or something.

Crepevine
5600 College Ave, Oakland, Hercules,
A typical crepe or sandwich is around $8-12 dollars, but they come with a salad and potatoes. The potatoes tend to be soggy (uncrisp), and the salad is okay. I had the Crepevine Club sandwich, which was a very good combination of bacon and chicken, and was definitely a hearty portion. Getting a table was a little rough - they definitely don't have enough seating but it looked like takeout might be a better option in the future. Not the cleanest seating area, either. Wait-staff wasn't rude, but wasn't particularly nice either.
