La Fusta
8032 Baxter Ave, Elmhurst, Inwood,
If you live or work in Queens and you love steak, you'll love La Fusta. But to call this comfortable restaurant a steak place does not do it justice. The enormous menu features Argentine and Italian dishes, all executed successfully. Chicken and seafood are first-rate, as are the pastas, and the Argentine-style mixed grill is a carnivore's dream. Then there's the steak, which is always top quality and cooked precisely to order, regardless of the cut. Make sure you order the perfect french fries to accompany your steak. The wine list, while not large, features a nice selection of Chilean and Argentine wines that are moderately priced; the service staff can reliably match a wine to your party's meal. Menu prices are moderate and portions are generous. The room is comfortable if not fancy, and noise levels will rise if there are large parties in the restaurant. The waiters are friendly and efficient, and from your second visit will greet you like an old friend.

El Puerto Argentinean Grill
1623 E 5th Ave, Tampa, East Lake-Orient Park,
Awesome find. Nicely marinated skirt (flank) steaks grilled to perfection. Ask for the aji sauce with your order. Juicy, tender, and very flavorful. Okay prices. Service is authentic and friendly. Don't plan on making a movie after a quick meal - this is one that takes a while, as it should I enjoyed dinner here last night, and I'm looking forward to stopping by for lunch. ASAP TCB

Wow, if you haven't tried them you do not know what you're missing. They're in a whole other league from empanadas at other Latin restaurants.
