O'Neills Irish Pub
34 S B St, San Mateo, San Mateo,
loud, always over crowded, took a long time to get one drink from three bartenders on the weekened.seemed like they did not care how long I waited, seemed more into talking with their friends than getting the drinks out in a timely manner.. So we cruised down to the other bar at moons and got a drink in no time and the bartender on saturday nite was a cool person.

B J's Restaurant & Brewery
2206 Bridgepointe Pky, San Mateo, San Mateo,
Went with the family and friends....decent food....pasta plate was not that good, just edible. Beers were good. A little pricey ($7 a glass of wine?). Nice environment and decent service. You will even be fed as you are waiting. Trying the pizza next time. Good appetizers.

Half Moon Bay Brewing Company
390 Capistrano Rd, Half Moon Bay, San Mateo,
The girlfriend and I loved this place. We are fish and chips fans and the fish and chips this place had to offer tasted like turkey of the sea... SO GOOD! and the 8.8% is awsome! Good looking people and smoking allowed out side. Try the refillable jug, great deal!

Cortland Wine Cellar
5292 State Route 5, Cortland, Vienna Center,
I would highly recommend the Cortland Wine Cellar to everyone. We went on a Friday evening for a tasting with a group of friends and had such a great time. Everyone chose a different type of wine and made...when it was ready we went back and had a party to bottle it and share it. I can hardly wait to go back and make more....Thanks girls for all your help!!!

Nodding Head Brewery & Rstrnt
1516 Sansom St, Philadelphia, Pennsauken,
Spent 5 days in Philly and found this great place with 2 days to go. Our last 2 nights were spent here. First, I have to mention the accomodating staff. A stranger feels like an old friend here and this is from "all" we met. The brews were incredible! My favorites were the Grog, All Night Ale, and the BPA. You won't find better! The food was prepared with the best ingredients which gives you the most and best for your money. Great menu!! I liked the rock and roll music going on and we still heard each other, unlike some places. Can't wait to go back!!

Kildare's
509 S 2nd St, Philadelphia, Pennsauken,
I have been to 4 different Kildare's locations. They seem to appear where Pizza Uno used to be. That's like trading Andrew Lang, Jeff Hornacek and Tim Perry and getting Charles Barkley in return. (That hurts) Each is slightly different (even the preparation of the menu items) but the result is the same. The food is outstanding, the decor is warm and relaxing, and we go home feeling very full for the price. It is all pretty authentic Irish food, dressed up a bit, but not so much as to make you feel as if you are into some trendy Hiberno-Fusion Bistro. Wings are good as well for those just bar-hopping. IF YOU ARE NEAR FRONT AND SOUTH, PASS RIGHT BY DOWNEY'S and come here.
