Went to the Smoke House over the summer with a group of 6 people. We waited for a table while another group of 6 who arrived after us was seated before us. The waitress was rude and useless. I ordered a side of corn on the cob, which did not come out with the meal. The waitress then proceeded to bring out corn bread instead, and then charged us for both, despite never bringing the corn on the cob. Two of the people we were with ordered Margaritas on the rocks, which were sold in extremely small plastic 8 ounce cups. On the bill, the margaritas were charged as double shot frozen margaritas and cost $14 each. As a resident of Newport, I will honestly say this is the worst restaurant I have ever been to here. The service was terrible, and it was extremely overpriced for mediocre food. Do not waste time at the Smoke House, there are many better options in Newport.
