Listing review
I've spent a-LATTE at another coffee chain over the years, but Border's Cafe (Seattle's Best Coffee) really impressed me. The Barista, Charles, made a darn fine hazelnut latte- quad shot, no foam, 4 ice cubes- and then went out of his way to concoct an otherwise not on the menu strawberry shake for my child to enjoy while we sat and perused the latest periodicals. As we sat in the cafe for a bit, he eventually offered me and the other patrons free samples of the featured beverage in order to promote sales. Though the drink wasn't to my liking, the Barista did a fine job of "selling" the product and mingling with the customers. It was so much nicer than the cordial yet cattle-call-like atmosphere of the coffee place I usually frequent. In short, I will definately look to Border's Cafe to satisfy my coffee addiction. They may not have a coffee place on every corner of every intersection, but they are definately a destination worth going to.
